The Pooram festival is marked by the traditional folk and classical musical performances like the Tholpavakoothu, Kalamezhuthupattu, Pootham, Thira, Karivela, Kaalavela, Kuthiravela, Kathakali, Chakyarkoothu. The last day of the festival sees a Ceremonial procession of 21 elephants.
